The forces of development surround us and pose a constant threat to our unique way of life on our islands. Membership in the Committee of the Islands enables you to keep informed and to participate in meaningful efforts to ensure good government and preserve the sanctuary character of our islands.

Membership entitles you to:

• Email news/alerts about critical community issues.
• Special updates about longer-term issues affecting our islands.
• Voice your opinion on issues via the website at www.coti.org.
• Participate in the election of the Committee's Board of Directors.
• Attend Committee of the Islands meetings about specific island issues.
• Volunteer for any committees and other community activities that may particularly interest you.

As a member you can make your voice heard, and have a stronger and more effective influence on important civic matters.
